AM Insurance Helps Bring “Holiday Cheer” to Guma Mami Consumers

This year in lieu of doing a Christmas gift exchange between employees the AM staff and management decided to give back to the community by donating their time and treasurers.

On January 8, 2011 AM Insurance Employees volunteered to help the Guma Mami Staff bring the spirit of the holidays to one hundred consumers and their family members. “The consumers look forward to this event every year and we try to do it around the three kings celebration which is why we have it in early January,” said Bernadita P. Grajek, Executive Director of Guma Mami.

Consumers enjoyed being served a fiesta meal by AM Insurance and Guma Mami Staff, as well as, 100 baskets full of donated consumable items.

Guma’ Mami, Inc., is a non-profit local organization whose mission is to facilitate the full inclusion and integration of individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses into their communities through individual and family supports.
