AM Insurance has been handling commercial & public agencies since its inception in 1994. The company began as a sole proprietorship and incorporated in June 1996. Starting with only two employees, the company now has ten employees on board handling dossier of accounts totaling over ten million dollars in insurance premiums which consists mostly of large Government and Commercial accounts. They have provided insurance policies for property, marine liability, OCIP’s, D&O, workers compensation, auto, crime and others.
AM Insurance has a team of professionals with collectively over 80 years of experience in the insurance industry. All employees of AMI go through training which enables them to provide personalized administrative and underwriting assistance as well as prompt and efficient claims support.
As a licensed surplus lines broker, Annmarie combines her knowledge and expertise of the local insurance industry with her contacts that are able to access both the London and U.S. Markets to provide tailor-made Insurance Programs to fit each client’s needs. By using traditional local and international markets as well as syndicates in Lloyd’s, AMI has been able to put together numerous insurance programs for ports, airports, utilities, educational institutions and others. AMI has also used specialty markets and mutual insurance associations or clubs such as TT Club, Travelers, TPIF, Allianz, QBE, XL London, AIG, United Educators, etc.
